This is a rescue plan for the (un)famous Azure Blue design.

  • Glitter nail polish

Steps:
  1. Follow the steps from the Azure Blue nail design

Azure Blue (1 of 2)

What makes it special: The azure blue color balanced with vertical lines.

How long it lasts:
If you have the patience to maintain your nail polish, up to five days. But if you are lazy like me - you will start losing lines on the very first day.

To cook this look you need:

  • Three kitties
  • Base coat
  • Top coat
  • Azure blue nail polish
  • Tape (I got silver with stripes)
  • Tweezers and scissors to cut the tape (optional)

Steps:
  1. Apply the base coat
  2. Apply the blue nail polish and wait to dry
  3. Cut a few pieces of the tape
  4. Use the tweezers to put the tape on your nails, be careful and tap gently to fix them
  5. Cut the extra tape
  6. Apply the top coat

Shiny Days

What makes it special: The golden glitter mixed with ombre.

How long it lasts:
You can have it for a week. You can have it for even longer if you split this design in a few steps and wear each of them for a few days. The new layers will protect the edges:

  1. (day 1 to 3) A plain green nail ''design"
  2. (day 4 to 7) Ombre with tape
  3. (day 8 to 10) Golden coat
To cook this look you need:

  • Three kitties
  • Base coat
  • Light green nail polish
  • Yellow nail polish
  • Orange nail polish
  • Darker green nail polish
  • Glitter golden nail polish
  • Tape
  • Tweezers & scissors
  • Small sponge
  • Something to protect the skin on your hands: hand cream, larger tape or latex proector

Steps:

  1. Apply the base coat
  2. Apply one layer of the light green nail polish and wait to dry
  3. Apply the skin protector of your choice (if you haven't done it already)
  4. Cut pieces of the tape and place them on your nails
  5. Apply layers of the nail polish on the sponge: yellow, orange, green
  6. Start tapping with the sponge on each finger. You can apply a few layers this way
  7. Don't let it to dry for too long
  8. Take the tweezers and remove the tape
  9. Wait to dry if you have applied too many layers
  10. Apply the golden glitter as top coat
